VISITOR CENTER HOURS

Savannah NWR Visitor Center hours are Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (closed Federal holidays).  The Visitor Center has an exhibit of "critters" of the Refuge System, a 12-minute movie about the refuge, a bookstore/gift shop, volunteers to assist with information, a sheet about the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, and on the back a map of the areas that may be hiked/biked.  There is also a trail behind the visitor (about 800 feet) to walk and enjoy the birds and animals, plus at the end of the trail is a seating area with bird feeders.
