MEETING LOCATION FOR SEPTEMBER 15:
520 E WASHINGTON AVE, SAVANNAH
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Please join Ogeechee Audubon, Tuesday 7:00 PM, September 15th for our program, presented by Charlie Muise who has worked with Citizen Science programs for more than a decade. Coordinator for Georgia's Important Bird Areas program Charlie will discuss why it is important for all of us to help conserve birds, and how to make sure our efforts are not
wasted. He will describe some science-based programs that are easy to work with and detail some conservation efforts we can make. He will demonstrate how to use eBird, an online database of bird observations by people like you. eBird provides scientists, researchers and amateurs with real-time data about birds. His goal is to leave you feeling better prepared to “help the birds we all love so much." The meeting will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 520 E. Washington Ave, Savannah.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHANGE OF LOCATION FROM OTHER MEETINGS.
