This trip to Ossabaw Island is
FOR THE BIRDS!

The Ossbaw Island Foundation is hosting an unforgettable day on Ossabaw Island.

 

Noted local birding expert, Diana Churchill will be leading a “Birder’s Eye View” tour of the island. Join us
 as we explore the meadows, forests and wetlands of Ossabaw Island, Georgia’s first Heritage Preserve.

When:  Saturday, May16th.  The boat departs promptly at 9:30am and returns around 4pm

 

Where:  Delegal Marina at The Landings on Skidaway Island

 

Cost:  $50 per person for Friends of Ossabaw / $65 per person for Future Friends

 

Reservations are required, as space is limited.

 
 

Payment in full is required to confirm reservations.

 

Cost includes round-trip boat transportation to Ossabaw Island and the full day tour.

 

Cost does not include your sack lunch or bottled water / beverages.

 

Participants should bring their own binoculars, field guides and cameras.

 

Due to the length and focus of the tour, this program is not recommended for young children.

 

Because we will be riding along unpaved roads in a wooden buckboard, this tour is not
 recommended for those with hip, back or knee problems.
