Reflections on the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

October Ogeechee Audubon Society Meeting

October 19, 2010    7:00 PM

On Tuesday evening October 19th, Jane Griess, Project Leader for the Savannah Coastal Refuges, and Lindsay Coldiron, Wildlife Biologist, Savannah National Wildlife Refuge, will share their personal experiences with what has been called the largest oil spill in history. Project Leader Griess served on the Unified Command at the Gulf Incident Command Center and Coldiron did field work there. Come learn from those with first-hand experience.

The program, free and open to all, will be held at 7:00 pm on the 2nd floor of the Savannah Jewish Education Alliance building, 5111 Abercorn Street, Savannah.  (Please note this is not the regular meeting location of the Ogeechee Audubon Society.)

For further information call Beth Roth at (912) 658-6136.
