OGEECHEE AUDUBON FEBRUARY 2012 MEETING
JEWISH EDUCATION ALLIANCE BUILDING (JEA)
On Tuesday evening, February 21, at 7:00 p.m., Dot Bambach, Vice President of the Ogeechee Audubon Society, will present a lively slide show on Vultures.
Vultures get a bum rap as ugly, dirty birds that eat rotten meat. The truth is much more complex. Dot’s talk on “Vultures of the United States” will examine characteristics shared by vultures world- wide, dispel some myths about these birds, and provide tips on how to identify our local species in the field.
The meeting will be held at the JEA, 5111 Abercorn Street (just north of DeRenne), Savannah, and is open to the public without charge. For more information call Beth, 912-658-6136.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A CHANGE OF LOCATION FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS.
